小时不识月，呼作白玉盘。
又疑瑶台镜，飞在青云端。
仙人垂两足，桂树何团团。
白兔捣药成，问言与谁餐？

The Moon

As a child, I did not know the moon,
But called it a white jade plate in the sky.
Or maybe a mirror from on high,
That flew from clouds beyond the eye.
Immortals dangled their feet so fair,
Round osmanthus tree grew there.
Where’s the elixir the white rabbit ground?
With whom will the potion be shared around?
