朝辞白帝彩云间，
千里江陵一日还。
两岸猿声啼不住，
轻舟已过万重山。

Leaving the White Emperor Town at Dawn

At dawn I leave the White Emperor crowned with cloud,
To reach Jiangling one thousand li within a day.
Monkeys’ adieus along the banks cry out aloud;
My skiff has left ten thousand mountains far away.
